FAQ

1. If a teacher cancels a lesson, are lessons replaced?

At Sonata Music School, we pay attention to the satisfaction of our students and quality teaching. If the teacher has to cancel the lesson for personal reasons, the lesson will be replaced by personal agreement. The date of substitute lessons is offered by the teacher, depending on availability regarding the schedule. The cancelled lesson must still be replaced within one month at the latest. If the student is not interested in choosing a replacement lesson from the suggested dates, the excused untaught lesson is considered to have been provided and therefore, the teacher is not obliged to return payment for the course fee.

If a student excuses himself from a piano lesson, is he entitled to a substitute lesson?

The student is entitled to one spare lesson during one prepaid month, and only with an excuse at least 24 hours before the start of the lesson. If the student does not show up for the piano lesson without any excuse or excuses himself a few hours the day of the lesson, the lesson is forfeited and the teacher is not obliged to replace the lesson or refund the course fee.

3. In which case is the course fee refunded?

The teacher returns the course fee only in case of failure to provide the lesson from the teacher.
